Our Staff

Bill is the President and Owner of Smoot Associates, where he oversees all financial and administrative activities. He also serves as an Architectural Sales Consultant for the company and is a member of DHI.

Bill has earned a BS in accounting, an MBA from UMass Boston, and a Masters of Taxation from Bentley College. He has been associated with Smoot Associates since 1993 as a financial and tax consultant and has served as CFO & Treasurer since 2009.

Larry is an Operations Manager at Smoot Associates, where he oversees brand management of products to architects, distributors, and wholesalers. He also conducts training sessions and serves as a liaison between the customer base and vendor partners.

With over thirty years of experience in the industry, Larry is a member of DHI and has been with Smoot Associates since 2009.

Doug has earned a Liberal Arts Degree from Bristol College. He joined Smoot after spending several years in the distribution side of Division 8. With his vast knowledge and experience, he supports architects and distributors with product expertise, specification writing, training, and hands-on service.

Doug joined Smoot Associates in 2018 and is a DHI member.

Deegan has earned a BA in Architecture from RPI. He is a former architect who now serves Upstate New York, bringing deep industry knowledge and strong relationships to his role. He supports architects and distributors with product expertise, specification writing, training, and hands-on service.

Deegan joined Smoot Associates in 2022 and is a CSI member.
